Congratulations to all St. Cronans athletes who competed in the Munster juvenile even age championships in Cooraclare last Sunday.

The weather was ideal with competition very strong and with a large number of entries in all age groups.

The club did very well winning the following team medals;

Gold 🥇in the boys U10

Gold 🥇in the boys U14.

Silver🥈 in the girls U10

Silver🥈 in the boys U12

Bronze 🥉in the boys U16

A number of our athletes also took home individual medals for oustanding performances and finishing on the podium.

Silver 🥈for Clare in the Boys U14

Silver 🥈for Clare in the Boys U16

There are no All-Ireland competitions for our U10's but our U12, U14 and U16 teams that won medals will now go on to represent the club at the prestigious All-Ireland Even Age XC in Gowran, Kilkenny next month. The club have won places for 6 athletes on each team. These will be selected based on the criteria outlined by the Club Secretary prior to the Munster races.
