The club took home a huge haul of medals from the Munster Championships in Castleisland this weekend. As an example of the outstanding success of the athletes and the club, a quarter of all medals in the U10 competition on Sunday were awarded just to St. Cronan's athletes. It was a brilliant weekend for our astounding young athletes across a broad range of events from High Jump to Middle Distance, Long Jump and Javelin. If they continue to prepare properly (sleep well, eat healthily and train hard) they will have great opportunities as athletes in the years ahead. Many of these athletes will now go on to represent the club at the National Championships in Tullamore on 1 July.
